Objectives:
- Assesses climate risk.
- Co-creates and installs climate awareness actions with local authority.
- Develops & installs a permanent, interactive infrastructure - a scale model of the coastal zone- to make the impact of sea level rise and adaptive measures tangible (integration of climate awareness into visitor experiences).
Expected results:
- More awareness on climate changes effect in the pilot region: visitors can experience the difference between maintaining the current coastline and adopting a forward-looking, climate-resilient approach.
- Improvement of ReStart Compass component ‘D&I focus Climate adaptation & mitigation’.
- On the long term, a wide spread of activities on climate mitigation and adaptation in whole NWE.
