Objectives:
- Evaluate the draft of the new policy (developed in 2026) by ReStart Compass tools on regenerative tourism aspects.
- Develops regenerative tourism policy recommendations.
- Finalise, adopt & implement the new policy (operationalisation from 2027 onwards).
Expected results:
- Strengthen and consolidate the regional tourism policy & equip the Region for the operational implementation of its policy, through tools, projects and methodologies.
- Improvement of ReStart Compass component ‘Policy’.
- On the long term, a wide spread of more regenerative tourism policies in NWE.
